Ingredient List:

To make these low carb brownies, you need:

  • 150 grams of dark chocolate (it should have a minimum 75% cocoa)
  • 220 grams of unsalted butter
  • 150 grams of almond flour
  • Four eggs
  • 200 grams of caster sugar or stevia powder
  • One tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 20 grams of almonds
  • 30 grams walnuts
  • ¾ packet of baking soda
  • pinch of salt

Tools Required:

  • baking tray/ baking pan/cake mould
  • electric hand mixer

PROCEDURE – How to Cook:

  1. First, preheat the oven at 175°C.
  2. Now grease the baking pan with a bit of unsalted butter.
  3. Roughly chop the almonds and walnuts.
  4. Break the chocolate into small chunk like pieces. Dice the butter and put it in a pan to melt it in hot water.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk the eggs, and add the caster sugar and keep whisking till frothy. Add flour, baking powder, along with the cooled chocolate and butter mixture. Stir and whisk with an electric hand mixer. Mix till you get a dough-like batter.
  6. Lift the nuts under the dough and put everything in the greased baking pan. Put to bake for 15 to 30 minutes. Take out from oven and leave it to cool down. Once cooled, slice the cake into regular pastry slices and sprinkle the powdered sugar, if required.

The aromatic, delicious and low in carbs brownie is ready to be served and savoured.
